Great start to 2011

Over 70 business men and women attended the launch of the new Maldon Business Networking Group in Maldon. The group will meet every other Friday in The OAKhouse, High Street, Maldon. New members are invited to come along from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. There is no membership charge.The group is organised by Stella Bradbrook of AboutMyArea Maldon & Burnham and Glenn Mayes, toastmaster and celebrant, and is sponsored by the Essex Federation of Small Businesses. The next meeting will be on Friday 4th February.

We have lift off

In one hour's time the Maldon Business Networking Group will start. 4.30 -6.30pm TODAY at the OAKhouse, High Street, Maldon. See you there.

Tomorrow's Launch

Stella Bradbrook and Glenn Mayes along with John Linton, owner of The OAKhouse, will welcome you to the first meeting of Maldon Business Networking Group (Maldonbiz), tomorrow.  This informal meeting is to introduce you to each other. This group belongs to you and it is you that will decide how best to move forward. Wayne Collier will bring the prize for the business card draw. Bring at least 50 business cards. Time 4.30 to 6.30pm. FRIDAY 21st January.  Nearest parking is at the White Car Park.

Countdown to Launch

Well it looks like we're off to a flying start. Around 45 people are expected to the launch on Friday and for those of you that cannot make that date, we have several people already saying that they will definitely be there for the second meeting on 4th February. Wayne Collier of Wayne Collier.co.uk will be supplying the prize for the business card draw and Mary Powell of The Emporium, High Street, Maldon has agreed to sponsor the second meeting. Please bring at least 50 business cards as there will be a rack for them which will be available every fortnight. Just remember to top them up regularly.

Brand New Year for Businesses

Welcome to 2011. The time to make a New Year's Resolution to promote your business. Why not start by joining our newly formed Networking Group on the 21st January at The OAKhouse, High Street, Maldon. We will be meeting fortnightly and it is free.
